Having Sarah (and Dave) taking our wedding photographs was a genuine pleasure! From our original meeting, we (my groom Russ!) made it very clear that we were looking for a different type of photographer – one that would keep the flow going and allow the guests, and ourselves, to enjoy the day.On the day itself, both Sarah and Dave, were professional, yet realistic, achieving exactly what we had asked for, being sympathetic to our particular criteria.We were thoroughly thrilled with them being there, almost as guests themselves. We have had nothing but good feedback from the guests, many remembering and saying that it was actually quite fun having the photos – a rarity I believe!! The album blew us away. Obviously we had seen the photos in the preview album, but nothing prepared us for the impact of Sarah and Daves photos in the album.Its been a pleasure every time we’ve shown the album to family and friends, and they bring the day flooding back – which after all, is what they are intended for. If you are entering this web site looking for a Wedding photographer but bored of reading testimonials please just take the time and read this one as Sarah Smith’s wedding photography gets the platinum award as far as I am concerned. She will tick all the boxes for your photography requirements which during the busy time of organising a Wedding in my mind is what everyone is looking for. It was purely by accident that I employed Sarah Smith to do my Wedding Photography but what a fantastic fate of fortune it was. I would like firstly to thank Sarah for the brilliant professional job she did totally dedicated to her passion. Sarah from the start of our relationship always displayed an incredibly professional personal touch and the time and effort put in was no more than astronomical. This effort included several visits to the venue that we were to be married at to ensure that the light was o.k, including the darkness of the chapel and the position of the sun so as to gain the best positions to get people to pose. Also, where each photo would be best taken. A couple of evenings before the wedding Sarah came to our house to show us some poses for the day so that she would not be encroaching on our time during the wedding day by doing it then. During the day Sarah was incredibly polite to all the guests and totally relaxed in her approach making it seem she was one of the guests. Another positive aspect was that Sarah was aware of the fact that the photos are only part of the day, so after the agreed photos were taken she blended into the background doing candid shots and worked incredibly hard in achieving some fabulous shots. This is something which to my mind was an enormous bonus as some photographers can almost dominate some weddings. Finally, after the wedding Sarah put together a lovely preview album just enough photos to be able to arrange an album and her advice over this was invaluable. Finally, I would like to extend the biggest thank you to Sarah for everything it was like having one of your best friends at your wedding taking photos and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for an affordable fantastic wedding photographer.

Sarah has done two pencil portraits of our three beloved dogs, Sam,Pip and Mazey. We were amazed at how she has captured all their characteristics, their cheekiness and their alertness in the portraits. Sadly, we lost our Sam not so long ago, at the age of 16. She now sits pride of place in our sitting room along side Pip and Mazeys portrait. I would always recommend Sarah to anyone looking for someone to draw a portrait for them. There is something very special about a portrait of our loved ones. Thank you very much again Sarah, for making our dogs forever young on paper.

When i had the photos taken with my two dogs all i was expecting was some nice pictures of us, what i got was so amazing i struggled not to cry. I never thought id ever see on a picture what i see in my dogs everyday, Sarah has the talent to catch their personalities and quirks in a few clicks of a camera. In the December of last year I was looking for a very special present for a very dear friend, after much fruitless searching I come up on the idea of having a portrait painted of my friend’s dog, through a local gallery I made contact with Sarah. I sent her a photo which wasn’t the best and to my complete amazement she not only finished the portrait well before Christmas but framed it as well. The picture is unimaginably fantastic, I know the dog well and he has a unique personality and anyone looking at the drawing will be able to see that, Sarah has managed to capture every ounce of his personality, her skill as an artist is unquestionable and having the picture in my possession for a few days I quite expected to see him blink, his eyes look that real. Thank you Sarah for making a very dear friend so very happy, it truly is a present that will be forever treasured
